Welcome Minds Counselling is registered with the Information Commissioners Office and is therefore required to be transparent about the way in which your personal information is gathered and stored.
Personal information
During your first session, you will need to fill out a contract agreement which asks for: your name, date of birth, telephone number, email address, home address, emergency contact’s number, occupation, and medical details.
How I store your personal information
You will be sent a GDPR document before your first session which shows details of how Welcome Minds Counselling gathers and stores your personal information.
Website
welcomemindscounselling.com provides an online contact form. Using this form, you are asked to submit the following pieces of personal data: name, contact number and email address, together with any additional information you choose to submit.
This information is used to find out how best to contact you, answer any questions you may have and arrange appointments for an initial session.
Contact form messages are received by email. All email addresses and email conversations are kept during the length of the therapeutic contract and deleted once the therapeutic contract ends. The same applies to any text conversations or voicemail messages.
Your contact phone number, which may be stored on a mobile phone unit as well as online in the cloud during the length of the contract, will also be deleted once the therapeutic contract ends.

Transmission of data via the website is not secure or encrypted and thus may be at risk of interception, loss or corruption. Upon receipt of your personal data, Welcome Minds Counselling is committed to managing it as securely as possible.
